From: Computed tomography-guided biopsies in children: accuracy, efficiency and dose usage
Four years old child with recurrent urinary tract infections. In MRI an unknown solid retroperitoneal masses on the left was documented. The size of the masses was 15 × 26 mm. Because of proximity the lesion to aorta and because of better controllability the intervention was performed with CT guidance. No complications were documented. The pathological report revealed a ganglioneuroma. a. Enhanced transverse T1-weighted MR image with fat saturation shows a suspect lesion paraaortal on the left (arrows). b.
